Inviting store, clean, organized and the owner is knowledgable. I brought an older film camera in to see the feasibility of repair. He took it back to his work bench and returned five minutes later with solid advice to not spend the money to repair. Definitely an excellent store and camera repair.

A few weeks ago, I dropped my Sony A6400 mirrorless camera while hiking in Saguaro National Park. It landed on the corner of the touchscreen, shattering it and leaving tiny shards of glass everywhere. While the screen still seemed functional, I wanted to get it fixed so that I didn't end up cutting myself or rubbing broken glass into my face. I dropped by on a Monday morning and he ordered a replacement screen, which showed up on Friday of the same week. I then dropped off the camera body, sans lens, battery, and memory card, and he told me he'd get started on it first thing the following week. On Tuesday morning, I received the phone call that the camera was ready for pickup. He had the old screen to return to me, as I have a personalized vinyl wrap attached to it, and the camera is as good as new! This is a small shop with a decent selection of equipment for sale, including camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, tripods, bags, and more. If there's one or two other people ahead of you, you'll need to be patient. He gives his full professional attention to each customer that enters his store, and you don't feel like you're being rushed or pressured in any way. I'll definitely be back if I need any camera repair services in the future.

10/10 friendly, knowledgeable service. Not a “camera issue” per se, but my gimbal head is currently stuck on my tripod due to a stripped screw. I called to see if they would be able to help and John (the owner) had me bring it in so he could take a look. He spent at least 30 minutes with me troubleshooting and testing different ideas. Even though we weren’t able to fix it there, John helped me come up with a few different solutions that I had not thought of on my own—and at no charge! He was so helpful and wouldn’t let me pay for his time since we didn’t technically fix it. So I bought an Arca-Swiss plate that I needed anyways; they have a small selection of cameras, lenses, and accessories for several of the top brands. Thank you so much for your advice and help! Next camera issue I will certainly bring back here.

First time here. I chose this place because of the great reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. I had an old, vintage camera that I thought needed a couple things done. The owner was really pleasant and helpful. But what I appreciated most was that he told me one of the things I asked him to do wasn't needed, saving me some money. Some places may have just taken my money. That's integrity! He also took the time to give me some advice on a couple things. I will definitely be back and I encourage anyone needing any camera related repairs/cleaning to give this place a try.

If you make your living using cameras, then you will be happy as a Tucsonan to have such a wonderful repair shop in town. Both of the owners are knowledgeable photographers and the quality of work exceeds that of the OEM repair centers, in my experience. They also have extensive experience repairing film cameras and large-format shutters. A real gem of a shop.

Was looking for a certain new Nikkor Z lens and they had it stock. Friendly and helpful service. I am old enough to remember actually buying camera gear from a human being in a store, it was great to have that experience again. Also had some very nice used lenses but not what I am currently looking for.
