Took my mother in law and mom in with me to get MIL new shoes recommended by her podiatrist. Christy was so fantastic and took extra special care of her. Then she fitted my mom for shoes and they were perfect! She walks so much more normal now! She knew just what each of them needed specifically! Thank you so much!

I paid the toll and went to the Cape Coral store and wasn’t disappointed. I was looking at two types of Brooks running shoes, they had both in my size and I was allowed a short jog to try them out. I decided on the Hyperion Max 2 over the Ghost Max 2. It is now on my birthday wish list! Thank you very much!

A lady helped me with exactly what shoe I needed for my very particular feet. She taught me a lot and it’s been helping my feet tremendously and has given me advice on how to wear shoes even outside of work and I just wanted to tell you how awesome she was! My wife has been a customer for a couple of years and has told me to go. Finally, I did last saturday and had the pleasure of being helped by Carol. It is obvious she loves what she does. Yes, it is a little costly, BUT, the customer service provided along with the great product, it is worth every penny. I was also assisted by a nice gentlemen who offers additional help with the inserts that can go into the shoes. He was also amazing. Thank you carol....

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! I am a beginner runner and don’t know much about what shoe works best for me. Unfortunately I did not get her name, but the woman who helped me gave me a variety of different brands to try and knew a lot about every shoe. If you’re ever looking for new running/walking shoes I highly recommend.

I’ve been a customer of The Run Shoppe for nearly 10 years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of appalling. A few months ago, I purchased a pair of running shoes here, only to suffer severe knee pain shortly afterward. After months of agony and doctor’s visits, I discovered The Run Shoppe had sold me two different-sized shoes, almost certainly causing my injuries.

When I returned to The Run Shoppe to address this, the owner refused to reimburse, replace, or even discount the shoes. While the owner attempted to shift blame to the manufacturer, it is the store's responsibility to ensure the products they sell are fit for use and to remedy any issues that arise. This behavior may also be illegal under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA).

The store itself is dreary, with a dismal selection next to its competitors. Don’t just take my word for it—check out the photos I’ve included and others, showing both the mismatched shoes and the uninviting store interior. It’s clear this is not a business that values its customers and has poor post-purchase support (see their other reviews.) I strongly advise taking your business to a better retailer, where you’ll be treated with the respect and fairness that The Run Shoppe owner clearly lacks.
