Professional customer service from staff is outstanding!
I needed nosepads for my Etnia glasses, which were a special order. Chris put them in, but when he was cleaning my glasses, the left lens was scratched by something that had gotten onto the cloth. He immediately told me what happened and said new lenses would be ordered for me. It really impressed myself and my friend how Chris handled it. He was up front, professional and kind. He took measurements and the next morning I had my ophthalmologist fax in the lens prescription. When I called to make sure they had received it, the owner Yvonne answered and immediately apologized for what happened and said the order had already been placed. 5 days later the lenses arrived and they were replaced. I can’t say enough about the way this was handled by Chris and Yvonne; accidents happen but it says a great deal about a business when customer service is first and foremost. That’s hard to find in a business these days. Thank you Chris and Yvonne !

These people are the phoniest people. Walk in there are they are on top of you telling you every style, every manufacturer, how everything would look great on you. Here try this on. Try that on. And we can put your prescription in it. We do it all right here. And on and on. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

A couple of days later we went back in just to see how they would be if you just wanted them to make lenses in your perspection, into a pair of frames that were high end but not from their store. Another store in St Armands, where I bought the glasses told me to go there and they would adjust them as a favor to the owner. I went in and asked them to adjust them. They looked at me with such disdain. Told me we don't do that. We don't know anything about these glasses. I said, can't you just adjust the nosepads. They took them and went through the motions but did nothing. I took them back and got out of there as fast as possible. I guess I just didn't seem important enough to them. Terrible place. Go elsewhere.

After working with Melanie for my first pair of progressive sunglasses, I will never go anywhere else. She and the owner Yvonne offer the best customer service and care anyone could ever want. Melanie is an optician who has been in the business for years. She is a detail person who wants the customer to have the best experience and the best GLASSES possible. From choices of frames for personal fit and comfort to measurements, (even small accessories), and the finished product she can look at you and tell you what might work best without any effort to persuade, only to educate. I asked a lot of questions and my final choice brought me back to her early recommendation. I could not only understand why a particular frame, color and lens might be better for me other than another intellectually, I could actually feel it with the glasses on because of the time she took to help me understand the small differences among my choices. Now that's expert professionalism! When my progressive lenses arrived in a timely manner, they were perfect for me.

I never expected to have someone with so much experience and knowledge at a sunglass franchise or business to help me with such understanding and accuracy of what I needed. I have never had an experience even close to this.

I had gone to a well-known optician office who was going to charge me much more for a choice that would have been made quickly and not necessarily for the better. I had this experience with them before and learned after wearing my sunglasses that they were far from the best ones for me for playing golf and daily living.

I can't say enough about Melanie and the owner Yvonne at Sunglass Express at St. Armand's. What a great tag team and the perfect place to get what I believe you will be happy with when you first buy them and over time as well! That's key to buying the right glasses and sunglasses.

Every time we use Sunglasses Express Optical we have a great experience. There is an excellent choice of frames and our glasses are always ready promptly.
My wife needed her lenses redone because the prescription we gave them was incorrect, and they were terrific about redoing them and returning them to us very quickly.
