Our family was very surprised during hurricane Irma at how quiet our house was. Impact Experts high quality installation gave us confidence during the storm. We had also replaced our siding and the painter complemented Chris and his crew for their excellent caulking job. I recently purchased a home that has sliding glass doors. The sliders were the original ones and were basically awful. I wanted to replace them so I started looking into the cost of regular new ones compared to impact glass. I was told if I was going to replace them that I should get impact glass which would eliminate the need to put up panels when a storm comes. I shopped around and received quotes from several different companies. After comparing the quotes I decided to ask my realtor if he knew anyone and he referred me to Chris Woods. The quote Chris gave me was by far the best quote. Chris said he would receive the sliders in 4-6 weeks and ended up coming a week early to install. Installation day was slightly stressful for me but Chris reassured me that the new sliders would be in by the end of the day. As promised, Chris installed the upstairs sliders in one day and the only thing he had to do the following day was fix the outside stucco. Chris and his team kept the house very clean by covering everything inside as well as cleaning up after the job was completed. A few things that I liked the most about Chris was his confidence and his attitude. He doesn't have the pushy salesman attitude which is fantastic. And his confidence shows through his work, he knows what he is doing and does a good job.

Would not recommend! Large triple sliding door ordered in April 2023 which did not get installed until November 2023. - after multiple phone calls and emails trying to get updates. Needed an inspection and found out the permit paperwork was not completed correctly so they had completed the work without a permit. Paperwork finally submitted correctly and inspection finally done in April 2024 and fails - they installed trim before inspection so had to wait for them to get engineer to submit paperwork indicating it was installed correctly. Finally, passes inspection in May 2024. We make finally payment via bank’s bill pay service and they don’t deposit check until 89 days after issued. Check actually says “void after 90 days”. Why would a business not want to deposit check and close out the job?

Super fast turnaround, very knowledgeable, installed my windows in two days without any issues, long time locals. I’m a firefighter, I left to go on shift for 24hr, and come home to new windows, I always recommend Chris to everyone.

Nice tidy job installing a PGT triple slider at our house today. Smart, courteous and efficient crew left hardly a crumb behind. As someone else already said, Herb was always responsive when I had scheduling questions. Today, Chris Woods and his team captain, Adam, were also right there for me when I had an urgent, post-installation question. I would be happy to be a Stuart Glass client again when the need arises.

We recently contracted with Impact Experts to install impact windows in our condominium. When we were searching for vendors, I came across them via a google search, and after having many conversations with their sales representative, Reggie, I found him to be thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and had a no-pressure method in dealing with potential customers.
I did contact other vendors, but they did not compare to Impact Experts overall business model, low pressure, great follow up and follow thru, and competitive pricing. They were very flexible and worked with us per our schedule.
The installers were of equal quality and took their time during the installation, cleaning up, and were very meticulous in their work. I was really pleased with the end product.
