Our first time hiking here. Nice variety of habitats. A few confusing spots on the trail so be sure you have a map or be ready for an adventure! It's a short enough trail that even if you get lost, you won't get too far.

A very successful and knowledgeable organization that has placed into action ways to protect the environment for people, birds, air quality....'Nature" . Their mission includes ways to preserve and protect the animals, plants, and natural communities and the land and water on which they depend on in Indian River county. Much of this includes public awareness, also. The work can be multiple items with leaders and a team that juggle it all. It just depends on the day. Audubon Society provides educational fun activities for children, volunteers and members. Members may enjoy trips, volunteering and monthly speakers. Audubon has done the back breaking work of creating protection , either by law, planting trees or teaching sustainability. I am grateful for those that went before me and have done much more to protect you, me and all the nature we enjoy and need. It is a joy to be a member and to participate.

My son is a member and we were blown away with the amount of work and love that had gone into the programs and taking care of the land. The kids even had a whole room full of displays to interact with to teach is what they learned. Great society very beach. Keep it up

They do phenomenal work here. My experience was through my daughter and a program she was in. They provide a fun and interesting learning environment. This program formed an interest in things she may never have with out it.

Nice visit. They weren't open but you can troll the grounds. See the flowers and the designated monarch waystation. The mural is really nice. The trail looks like it connects to the conservation area near by

This is such a great organization. The tree program is amazing and they have rare native plants that are reasonably priced.
