Great bunch of employees. The doctor was amazing including the woman that prepped me for my exam.
The woman who helped me with my eye glass purchase was very patient and helped me with my choices and the understanding of what was covered by insurance.

Before I had my first appointment with Optimart, I needed to fill out the patient history online, which was difficult for me, so I completed it in the office. That was my only issue. The ladies in the office were very helpful and patient. Also, the office was very clean. Thank you, all.

TLDR: Excellent service for eye exam, get your glasses and fittings elsewhere.
The doctor and her assistant who handle the eye exams are great. I really only go there for them. They are definitely five star service. The eyeglass side of the operation, not so much. One employee in particular borders on rude, pretty much crossing that border far too often. Not only with me (rude response when asking about their replacement policy (if any) for scratches, and rude response when I picked up one pair and needed that pair and the pair I was wearing fitted), but she was pretty rude with a senior who wanted separate glasses for daily use and reading use. She is definitely a one star. So, I'm sitting the difference down the middle.

The 2 ladies at the front desk at the front desk had less than good customer service skills. However, Bobbie helped with my eyeglass selection and fitting and was superb. Dr. Middaugh was my optometrist and was a straight shooter. I had been told I might need cataract surgery by another optometrist. However Dr. Middaugh informed me he saw no cataracts and that they probably wanted to sell me something. I will definitely go back there again based on my experience with these two people.

Opti-mart in Crystal River is awesome! Everyone is so friendly and eager to help. Dr Ruckman was thorough and quick with a sense of humor. They have a lot of frames to choose from. All in all it was a very pleasant experience .

Great visit today at Opti-mart. Love everyone personality. No stuck up people there. The doctor actually listened to my concerns and discussed solutions with me. It's a caring office.

My husband and I recently went to Opti-mart 360 in Crystal River. The facility is clean, lots of retail glass frames on display. We will find another facility for our future needs. Dr. Carli Ruckman provided the worst service we have ever had. She did not explain the results of the various tests, the eye chart was gray on gray versus black on white for clarity, did not say if there was any change in prescription, etc. I did order new glasses as current ones are 2 years old. When they came in and went to pick up, I was given glasses and did not have a professional verify that all aspects of fit were correct. The only thing done as I was ready to depart was asked if behind the ears was okay. In my past experience with glasses, would always have a professional recheck everything.
