I tried the take our special shrimp and hush puppies. Very good Blackened just right, not spicy. Hush puppies were perfectly made, light and fluffy with that sweetness from the corn. I had extra left over shrimp and made some cheese gritts and topped it off with the shrimp. Delicious +

You have to know this place is there to even know it exists. Found it driving by and looking for crab legs here on Google.

Stopped in on a Wednesday evening for ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS-1.5 lb each serving ($65.50). Wow. Comes with Cole slaw hush puppies and fries (YUM)

Crab legs special stops at 7:30. They close at 9pm

Honestly, the best crab legs I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. One of the cleanest seafood restaurants I’ve ever been in as well. Very clean restrooms. Sangeeta was our server. She was amazing. Told us the history of the restaurant and about its other location in Okeechobee.

Outside and inside seating available as well as a bar. Will be returning in the future!!!!

What a treat to find this hidden gem! Our server Kelly was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the scallop salad which was huge and flavorful! My friend had the blackened grouper sandwich which was tasty. The hush puppies had so much flavor. They bring 6 different homemade sauces to the table. We tried the sweet potato, sweet blackened, peach and key lime. All were good , but our fave was sweet blackened. Kelly was attentive and the food was hot and delicious!

Such a hidden gem, we sat on the screened-in patio and very dog friendly! The fried oysters with all the dipping sauces were fabulous, as was the grilled cobia burger. Fries were perfect crispiness and loved dipping in the sweet potato sauce. Julia our server was awesome, we can’t wait to go back!

Awesome food, it's hard to pick one thing over anything else, so I'd have to recommend starting with the Okeechobee Sampler if you're not sure, it has a bit of everything on it, including turtle. Everything I've had so far has been amazing. They have frog legs and they sell some things wholesale, so you could take it home and make it your way if you wanted. They have some local beers on tap. The service is very good as well, we were able to get melted garlic butter made for us even though it wasn't on the menu. They also have their own sauces and seasoning, all of which are great.

Wow. The place is spotless, the service was amazing, our server was very helpful and patient. The food was phenomenal, all 4 of us left stuffed and beyond happy. Thank you all so much for amazing food! Also, best hush puppies I’ve ever had.

Lightsey's Seafood in Jensen Beach exceeded our expectations with its delightful atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Our server, Sanquida, deserves high praise for her attentive and friendly service throughout the evening.

We indulged in the Friday Special, the Saltwater Specialty, which featured succulent blackened shrimp served with a side of fries, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. Every element of the dish was executed to perfection, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Even Swampy, our trusted mascot, couldn't contain his delight; he was truly in heaven with each bite.

To kick off our meal, we couldn't resist trying the gator bites, and they did not disappoint. Tender and flavorful, they were a delightful start to our culinary adventure. While Swampy hesitated to dine on his distant relatives, he couldn't resist the allure of the shrimp.

No meal is complete without the perfect beverage pairing, and Lightsey's Seafood did not disappoint in this regard either. Veronica enjoyed a glass of wine, while I savored the Lexington Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale—a truly delicious choice that lived up to its name. And, of course, Swampy indulged in his favorite, Swamp Water.

Overall, our experience at Lightsey's Seafood was nothing short of exceptional. With delectable dishes, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder Swampy and we plan to return. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Lightsey's Seafood is a gem not to be missed.
