I had a cracked vinyl double-paned glass. The e-film on the window kept the gas from leaking, but I wanted to have the window repaired to avoid the possibility of it breaking through. I contacted Lakeland Glass & Mirror because after looking at the Google reviews, I saw that they were favorable and they were also a family owned small business with years of experience! I called and spoke to Dakota and told him what I had and that if I could save a service call charge, I would bring the window to the shop. He agreed and when I arrived, Dakota greeted me and disassembled the window trim so that he could get the correct glass insert measurements. I asked if they could just replace the broken pane. However, since it was double paned and filled with an inert gas, I would need to pay for both panes of glass. The repair could not be performed at the shop as their vendor has the equipment and sterile environment in which to replace the glass with new panes sealed with argon gas. Unfortunately, this type of repair and gas fill must be in a clean, dust & lint-free atmosphere. I was told it could be two or three weeks before the window was back at their shop and they would call me when it was ready for pick up. I got a call from Dakota less than two weeks later. I was charged a reasonable fee for the new glass unit which included a discount for my military service. A $25 fee was included in the cost of the repair which I felt was more than reasonable since I was avoiding about a $125 service call fee which would include measuring the window at my home and having them come back out and install the new window pane unit when complete! Dakota installed the new glass section into my frame while I waited and I was headed home within an hour! I was told when they ordered the new panes that the e-film may be a slightly different tint than my current film. They showed me a sample of the e-film on a sample window glass and the change was barely perceptible! I spoke with the owner and one of the other family members while Dakota installed the new window. They were friendly, professional and very accommodating! I would highly recommend Lakeland Glass & Mirror for your glass and mirror repairs or purchase.

My company hired Lakeland glass and mirror to install windows on a home for a 90 + year old client over 2 years ago . They have leaked ever since they were installed. I gave them multiple attempts to try to rectify the problem. The owner of this company is very unprofessional, and now my company is footing the bill to have the windows removed and new ones installed.

The interior of the home has suffered damage due to this as well with no care from the owners to fix the problem.

If I could leave them a negative star I would because one star is too gracious!

In response to your claim of “denied access” can you provide evidence of that?

You didn’t have the Decency to try and rectify the situation. On August 3rd was our final attempt. You can see the screenshot of the text with no response as well as the video showing the leaking.

Therefor we went after your liability. Your carrier has an exclusive for “work performed”, and found you at fault.
However, the exclusion does not apply to the tear out in the reinstall to correct the leaking per the broken seal.

Per my last email to you, you still didn’t respond to pay for the damage your carrier will not pay for which is your faulty work.

I will be waiting for an update, evidence that you were denied access to try and correct the faulty work you did.

Window World referred because they couldn’t replace the glass in our door. The Staff was very professional and helpful. I was given options and pricing better than anywhere in the Orlando Tampa areas! They also installed quicker than anticipated! Very happy!

If you're looking for a great glass company look no further. Billy is great and he helped me through the whole process and honestly had the best prices. Customer service is a priority here and it shows couldn't be happier. I wanted to say thank you to the 2 gentleman that did the install as well. Appreciate it guys.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company was subcontracted to install windows in an elderly Bartow residents home. The windows were incorrectly installed and every time it rains, it leaks through the seal pan. For TWO YEARS this homeowner and the company who contracted the work to Lakeland Glass & Mirror LLC have been trying to get the owner to remedy the issue. How did he respond you may ask (when he would)? “I just don’t know what the problem is, how do you suggest I fix it?”

Sir, isn’t that YOUR job to know? So while a hurricane rips through our state again, this homeowner will suffer through yet another storm with windows that are unsafe, and leak, causing drywall damage and rot. The elderly are one of the most likely demographic of people to be taken advantage of, and that homeowner definitely was. $14k in over priced work.

Lakeland Glass & Mirror, you can keep deleting comments, limiting who can comment on your social media, and even blocking people… but you can’t take the same amount of time and energy to address and rectify the issue. Shame on you!

One of the best services I’ve ever received, they came out the next day, fixed it on the spot. The technicians name was Mickey. He was super communicative, and it did not cost an arm, and a leg like a new window would have. These guys saved me hundreds of dollars and they did it in no time. They are going on my list for anything I need in the future like this.

This location is great. The staff is extra helpful and careful to make sure we understand what we are getting. We needed a replacement glass pane and we for exactly what we needed at a super reasonable price. I recommend these folks if you need any glass work.
