We called in a broken water line at 830 am and by 300 I am told they are still trying to get some one here They sent a guy out he stuck his hand in the water and said someone would be out shortly and left.

I don’t know what is going on with Indian River County Utilities, but for the last few months this is what we have been receiving up in Sebastian. No notice, no boil water notice, no warnings of any kind. Why am I paying for service when I have to turn around and buy bottled water to drink and gallons of water to cook with?

January 9 follow up:

I received a call from IRC Utilities and was informed that they have started up their program of flushing the water system periodically again and that all I am seeing is some sand that has been churned up in the flushing process. I was told if I encounter sand in my supply again, I should open all my faucets and flush my system completely. IRC Utilities was very helpful and there were signs placed out in the neighborhood, I just hadn’t seen them until yesterday.

You can't argue with them, So this time in 2024 I paid half after getting out of hospital and taking a unexpected personal health trip, i. So I called said I'd pay 1/2 now and 1/2 first of month.
