I will admit .. when looking for a contractor in south Florida for custom glass fabrication and installation for my 120 foot dock, I was overwhelmed. After doing my due diligence and researching companies I decided to go with “IG Glass”. From the very first call they were extremely professional and helpful to discuss my scope of work and they sent an installer to come and quote my job within 48 hours. Being new to South Florida my install technician who is named Hanceer explained to me the different types of glass , base, and railings I had as options. I asked him to give me his professional opinion to make it look clean, minimal, and strong. He suggested what he would do if it were his house and we decided to go with a stainless steel brushed finish for the base and a frameless glass to maximize the view and minimize the any hardware that would be visible to the eye. Let say that I am glad I went with his recommendation because it came out beautiful. Exactly what I wanted.

Now my experience of the company… first they showed up on time and called me in advance to let me know when they were 30 min away. They kept the job site extremely clean and organized and they even took off my old dock cleats and sealed all holes with epoxy resin at no additional cost because he said it was the right thing to do and he takes pride in his work. When I say their attention to detail was on point let me tell you that their installers treated the job like they owned the company. There was one panel of glass out of the 120 feet that he noticed a hairline scratch that I couldn’t even see until he pointed it out… he refused to install the piece of glass and had the office make a new piece of glass because he wanted to the job to be perfect. He inspected all the glass panels prior to installation began and submitted the new panel request to be cut….I had a new panel of glass within 48 hours and by the time the project was completed the new glass panel was ready and installed to meet the promised project finish date as per the quote.

Their office was extremely easy and efficient to deal with … Yarden who was my main point of contact for quotes and payment was so nice and helpful and organized. She made this whole process so enjoyable and was extremely kind with following up with me before and after the project.

I HIGHLY recommend them for any glass work needs and I will be using them for all future projects and so should you!

The shower door doesn’t open both ways as requested. In addition, the top is chipped and it makes a banging noise and they measured improperly. They’re rude and won’t assist as we’ve tried for months. Extremely unprofessional.
