The doctor at this location is outstanding. He definitely explains things and does a thorough exam. I was very impressed. The reason for the one star are the glasses. I paid for the progressive lens, the best ones they had. I don’t know if it’s because the measurements that they took were wrong (pd). The height of the reading measurement was wrong, or they were simply made incorrectly, But I can’t wear them. when I walk the ground is way higher than it should be. I almost tripped a few times. one of my eyes feels like it’s pulling off to the one side when I wear the glasses. I just wore them twice and they’re already sliding off my face so they were not adjusted correctly. When she told me what the PD measurement was, it didn’t match my old one, but I figured she knew what she was doing so I let it go. I probably should’ve mentioned something and had her remeasure. I would definitely go there for an exam, but I would never get glasses made by them again. It was over a $500 investment and now I’ll just wear them for spares. I’ll have to get new ones made somewhere else. I will also say that everyone there was very nice and very helpful, but the glasses are the important part.
January revisit.
I went back to the store as requested. They are so helpful and nice.
The young lady who helped me did a fantastic job. I’m now completely happy, thank you

No question for the best eye exam, Complete check up of your eyes, and a honest opinion as to what you need or dont need and never a mention of buying glasses at HindSight and a perscription given to you with the Doctors results for you to get glasses where ever you choose.

Fantastic service by Dr Russell. I got an appointment within a week. The same day service was more than I expected. In a hour I had new lenses in my frame.
I’ve never experienced such wonderful and same day service. I was renting in The Villages of Florida for 2 months when my vision got cloudy. So pleased with results. All at a reasonable fee.

This place came recommended to me.. Well let me tell you!! The staff was so very helpful, The ophthalmologist was friendly, talkative, and very knowledgeable. Had a great great personality.. Within one hour of my eye exam, my glasses were done at a very reasonable price. I pay out-of-pocket, and I think it was completely reasonable, considering what I got. Will definitely return!!!
