Barry is an honest, knowledgeable man with a superb selection of designer choices you will not find elsewhere. I rarely do reviews, but my wife and I recently bought 3 pairs of glasses (2 daily and 1 sunglasses) all with progressive lenses, and we have had a very good experience. Lets face it, its 2024 - this kind of service just does not happen these days- and to this level quality and customer care - I would say never. Respect... tks Barry.

Barry has been a god-send!! My husband has been seeing Barry for a couple of years now and has had nothing but wonderful service & some cool looking eyeware to boot.
We are newer to the area and when our son developed an eye condition Barry was the only "eye" person that I trusted. When I explained what our son needed his eyes lit up and helped us understand that his father was one of the pioneers of helping to develop eye therapy for this type of disorder. He didn't hesitate to reach out to a couple of his contacts to get us the the right person in only one afternoon so that our son could get the help that he needed. Barry Franzblau exemplifies going the extra mile with white glove customer service at Couture Optique.
I recently purchased two pair of IC Berlin glasses. When I called him to let him know, one of the pairs of glasses was causing a problem, he invited me back in to diagnose the problem. It turns out that the weight of the prescription was a little too heavy for the frames. Without missing a beat, Barry swapped out those frames and lenses for a new pair, that I on chose at no additional cost and the problem was resolved in less than 15 minutes. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Barry provides a fair price for the quality glasses he sells and makes the experience compelling enough you want to come back.

Great store, with fantastic glasses selection. Like other reviews have noted, Barry will make the experience worth the price and have you receiving complements on your purchase wherever you go. Barry gives honest feedback and thoughtful suggestions on frame selection and how to tweak the look to best suit you (like using a different lense shape or shade, or adding extra details if that's what you're looking for).
