Found a pair of trainers I really liked, asked one of the assistants if I could try a specific size, she said someone would be with me in a moment. 10 minutes later I was walking out of the shop when the manager appears and said they'd had a delivery and he was dealing with that. Appalling service. The shop was nearly empty and there was the assistant who I'd spoken to upstairs and another behind the counter as well as the manager.

Just the knowledge and help that is hard to come by. Went boot shopping for my partner, whose legs are different lengths and uses a specific insole. Steve was extremely helpful offering different solutions to try and very patient as we worked our way to finding the best solution. Very glad he was working that day. After finding the best boots, we went down stairs and Joseph on the till helped us with blue light card and warranty and guarantee options. All in all we came out with the right boots, discounted, no extras or frills, and an open invite to come back if we need anything else, boots or otherwise.

Really helpful staff. Amazing customer experience. No hard sell.
My partner needed some hiking footwear. After trying on about 6 pairs she picked a pair. She was advised to take them home and wear them around the house..any problems she could have a full refund.
She ended up returning them with no problem.

This shop is situated in a very unusual setting for a cotswold outdoor store but is very convenient. Parking is right around the back. Staff are really friendly and helpful and have time to advise on products.
