I would give 0 stars to Tony (the tech) and this company. Tony was here 18 min and replaced 4
Screws. He lied about what work he had done, as I was watching without his knowledge. Then tried to charge me $375! When I said I wasn’t paying that, he threatened me so I started getting scared. I finally paid him $250 just to get him out of my house. When I called 5 Star they acted appalled and said they would refund the money. They never did and will no longer take my calls. Next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and a police report.

Misleading Practices! When I first contacted "Maria" for a quote, she asked if I was a broker and mentioned that her company offers a $1,000 referral bonus via Zelle or Venmo if the client goes through with the quote. The quote itself, which was incomplete with some "unknown" costs for handles and stainless steel wheels, came out to about $4,000, with the unknowns potentially adding another $4,000. Instead of negotiating, we decided to accept the deal as-is because of the $1,000 referral and proceeded to pay for the job. The job was in excess of $9,000.

The work was satisfactory and completed on time. However, when it came time to pay the referral fee, Maria began avoiding my calls. Each time I reached out, she would blame an accounting person for the delay, and when I called a week later, it was the same story—she'd say she would look into it and then hang up. Then she would just hang up when I would call and ask where the Zelle is. This back-and-forth has gone on for 1.5 months, and my only option is to post this warning so others don’t fall into the same trap with this company. I cannot emphasize enough that this is not a trustworthy business, and you’d be better off finding a more honest and reliable company.

I called 5 Star Sliding Door Repair when my patio door stopped working, and Tony came out the same day , He was friendly, efficient, and explained everything. My door slides better than ever, and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

Nice service worker, quick service but ridiculously over priced. Cost $1,275 for less than 3 hours labor with one person and
$1, 014 for 6 rollers. I feel scammed. Shame on me.

This company is amazing they came out same day and fix our screens and sliding glass doors on the Holiday with no extra charge they were nice friendly and very professional
